Walt Yarbrough

Walt Yarbrough is a Professor of Practice in Arts, Communications, and Humanities at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since July 2021. With extensive experience in the gaming and educational sectors, Walt has served as Executive Producer for the Summer Innovation Program at MassDiGI since May 2012, evolving production methodologies and program efficiency. At Becker College, Walt held roles as a Visiting Digital Fellow and Adjunct Professor, managing curriculum and developing courses related to computer game production. Additional positions include part-time lecturer at Northeastern University and producer roles at various gaming companies such as Pod Digital Design, Quick Hit, Turbine, and Electronic Arts. Walt's career began at Mythic Entertainment, contributing to the development of the MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot. Walt holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
