Brendan Keenan

Brendan Keenan is an experienced educator and director currently serving as the Director of Social Emotional Learning at Fitchburg Public Schools since August 2023. Since February 2011, Brendan has been a lecturer at Assumption University, contributing to the School Counseling Graduate Program, Health Advocacy Graduate Program, and Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies Program. In addition, Brendan is a Senior Lecturer at Northeastern University, teaching undergraduate courses in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology. Brendan's extensive background includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Worcester State University and a Chief of Community Health for the City of Worcester. Brendan also engages with the academic community as a blogger for Edutopia and a peer reviewer for the Urban Education Journal.
