Head Coach Men’s Ice Hockey at Worcester State University

Jay Punsky M.S., AIC, has extensive coaching experience in ice hockey, currently serving as the Head Coach for Men’s Ice Hockey at Worcester State University since March 2021, while also holding the position of Assistant Men’s Hockey Coach. Punsky has been involved with the Islanders Hockey Club Inc. as a Premier and Elite Head Coach since March 2020. Previously, roles included NCDC General Manager, Premier Head Coach, NCDC Goalie Coach, and Youth Director of Goaltending with the Boston Bandits from April 2017 to March 2020. Additional coaching positions include Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations at Cape Cod Islanders, U18 AAA & Empire Jr. Head Coach at Baystate Breakers, and Men's Varsity Head Coach at Middletown High School. Punsky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University and a Master of Science in Sports and Recreation Management: Coaching from New England College.
