Richard Jones is an experienced cricket coach and former professional cricketer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Assistant Coach at Worcestershire County Cricket Club since January 2023, Richard previously held the position of Head High Performance Coach at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, where responsibilities included mentoring players on various developmental programs. Richard has also worked as a self-employed cricket coach, providing tailored coaching sessions, and has played professionally for various clubs including Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Richard gained valuable experience in media as a co-commentator for BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester. Academic qualifications include a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from The Manchester Metropolitan University and A Levels from King Edward VI College.
