Chris M. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Chris started their career as a Localization team coordinator and licensing manager at Sony Computer Entertainment Asia, where they built and managed relationships with EU/US studios and publishing, and scheduled and researched for a team of localization producers. Chris then became a Marketing Manager, overseeing a portfolio of titles and managing game releases, marketing channels, PR strategy, and local events across 10 markets. Chris also served as a PR Event Project Manager, leading a major PR event and coordinating media coverage across 7 markets.

After their time at Sony, Chris joined Proscape Technologies as a Business Operations Manager before moving on to Fengqu.com - An SF-Express Company, where they served as the VP Global, responsible for the cross-border import e-commerce channel. Chris then worked as a Consultant at Fengqu.com and later joined Mobike, a bike-sharing company, as the Vice President of International. At Mobike, Chris led the global expansion, setting the international strategy, launching and leading teams, and overseeing operations in various regions, including LATAM. Chris was involved in multiple aspects of the company, including PR strategies, bike operations, marketing, finance, logistics, and HR.

Currently, Chris is the CEO and Founder of Wordbox English, a company where they apply their wealth of experience and passion for language learning.

Chris M. attended SOAS University of London from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Japanese studies and successfully earned a First-class BA. In 2006 and 2007, Chris took part in a placement program at Keio University, focusing on commerce. In 2009 and 2010, they attended National Taiwan Normal University and studied Mandarin, though it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in this field.
