Alexis McLaughlin is an experienced freelance writer and educator with a strong background in creating educational content. Since June 2018, Alexis has worked as a freelance writer for MPS Publishing and Westchester Publishing Services, developing a variety of lessons and teacher guides for grade-specific Readers' Workshop and other educational resources. Additional roles include writing ELA presentations for Integra - Chicago, producing Language Arts materials for Cenveo Publisher Services, and contributing to standardized test preparation with Contentra Technologies. Alexis has also served as a freelance writer and quiz question developer for several organizations and has experience as a group fitness instructor for the City of Kettering. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature with minors in Spanish and History from the University of Dayton.
