Lee Straus currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs at 44 Blue Productions and as the Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Words + Pictures, both since May 2023. Additionally, Lee is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola Law School, teaching practical classes on business and legal affairs related to scripted and alternative television programming. Previous roles include Business and Legal Affairs Consultant for North Road Company, Executive Consultant for A+E Networks, and various executive positions at NBC Entertainment, where responsibilities included overseeing business affairs for numerous award-winning programs. Lee holds a JD from Loyola Law School and a BA in Film/Television Production from the University of Southern California.

Words + Pictures, founded by Connor Schell and Chernin Entertainment in 2021, is a production studio with a mission to produce high-end, culturally relevant nonfiction content.
