Rachel Sanborn

Rachel Sanborn is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community engagement and human resources. Currently serving as Payroll Manager and Human Resources Assistant at Work Opportunities Unlimited since January 2020, Rachel has previously held roles at the Community Action Council of Howard County as Community Outreach Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator, where management of over 4,000 volunteers and oversight of the Howard County Food Bank’s Community Garden were key responsibilities. Rachel's experience also includes serving as Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator at Interfaith Works, where coordination of volunteer recruitment and management was pivotal. Prior roles at the United Way of Northwest Vermont involved research, data analysis, event planning, and grant writing. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Economics from Saint Michael's College and continues studies at the School for International Training.
