Kristean von der Heiden began their career in 2008 as the Internet Sales Manager at Lexus of Roseville. In 2011, they became the General Sales Manager at McKevitt FIAT, where they and their team achieved selling over 30 units in the first month and averaging over 40 new units monthly in the first year of business. In 2014, they moved to The ForAnyAuto Group: Nissan, Mazda, Infiniti & Quick Lube of Elk Grove, Elk Grove Custom Collision, where they served as the Marketing and Internet Director. Kristean developed and promoted an original series of online videos, and oversaw the development and launch of six websites. In 2016, they joined Cox Automotive Inc. as the Regional Manager of Dealer.com, and was later promoted to Regional Manager of Cox Digital Retailing and Business Development Manager of Cox Automotive. In 2022, they became the Western Regional Manager at Work Truck Solutions, where they are responsible for product education, business development and relationship management.

Kristean von der Heiden attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended The Kent School from 1989 to 1993. Kristean also holds a certification from PCG Consulting's General Manager Mentoring Program.
