Rachel Schneider

Founder/CEO at Canary

Rachel Schneider has been working in the finance and banking industry since 1997. Rachel began their career at Merrill Lynch, where they worked as a Vice President of Investment Banking until 2003. Rachel then joined The Aspen Institute as the Associate Director of the Initiative for Financial Security until 2009. At that point, they moved to the Financial Health Network (formerly Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI)) as Senior Vice President. In 2018, they became the Omidyar Network Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program. In 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Canary.

Rachel Schneider attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a B.A. in Rachel'story. Rachel then attended the University of Chicago from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a JD/MBA.
