Robert Martin

Robert Martin has worked for four companies in the technology industry. From 2022 to present, they have been a Staff Engineer at WORK180. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Technical Lead and Senior Full Stack Developer at Sandstone Technology, responsible for solution design and implementation of lending software for financial institutions, as well as managing the development team for projects. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Software Engineer at ReturnToWorkSA, doing back-end Java enterprise development, web services and integration using MuleESB, and web app development front-end with Angular and Node.js. From 2011 to 2016, they were an Application Developer and Senior Consultant at IBM, providing solution design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of enterprise business applications, specifically specialising in Java development with primarily back-end with J2EE and SQL, Web Services and Integration, as well as supporting technologies. Robert also had experience with full stack development of custom web applications using AngularJS, NodeJS and NoSQL data stores (CloudAnt).

Robert Martin obtained a degree in Information Technology and a degree in Business with a focus in Economics from Flinders University between 2007 and 2010. In 2012, they obtained the IBM Certified Associate Developer - Cúram V6 certification from the Professional Certification Program from IBM. In 2018, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2020, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
