Michelle Diefenderfer began their work experience in 2009 as a Writing Assistant at Gavilan College, where they tutored students in writing and worked with English instructors. In 2012, they became a Teacher's Assistant at San Jose State University, grading assignments and exams. From 2012 to 2013, Michelle worked as an Office Assistant at Probe Specialists, organizing files and paperwork. Michelle then joined Datamate Bookkeeping and Tax, Inc. in 2013 as a Clerical Assistant, managing bookkeeping and scheduling appointments. From 2014 to 2018, Michelle worked as an Administrative Assistant III at PABCO Gypsum, supporting senior management and the sales team. In 2018, they became an Administrative Assistant IV at Western Digital, managing calendars and travel for senior directors. In 2019, Michelle worked as a Senior Executive Administrative Assistant at Toshiba Memory America, Inc., and then as an Executive Assistant/Project Manager at Lumenis, where they supported senior executives and managed complex meetings and events. Michelle'smost recent role is at Workato, where they serve as a Senior Executive Business Partner, supporting top executives, managing projects, and organizing company events.

Michelle Diefenderfer obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Business Administration from Gavilan College in 2011. Michelle then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from San Jose State University between 2011 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Michelle also received certifications in Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II from Workato in November 2020.
