John Paul M. Longphre

Dr. Longphre serves as a consulting medical director at client companies and provides clinical oversight for WorkCare’s Incident Intervention telehealth program.

His contributions include strategic planning and insights into the development of WorkCare’s automated on-call physician contact system. He joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director in 2008. Based in North Carolina, he is board-certified in Occupational Medicine. Dr. Longphre earned his Medical Degree and Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He completed a fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and his residency in Occupational Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. He is fluent in Japanese and a multi-engine, instrument-rated private pilot.
