Abhijit Banerjee

Abhijit Banerjee is a seasoned software development leader with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects in the technology sector. Currently serving as Director of Software Development at Workday since November 2014, Abhijit previously held various leadership roles at Intuit from June 1999 to October 2014, including Group Manager for QuickBooks Online Accountants and Group Manager for Web Development & Engineering. Abhijit has significantly contributed to the development and enhancement of critical SaaS offerings, focusing on aligning product pipelines with broader company strategies. Prior to Intuit, Abhijit worked as a Software Consultant at Pacific Telesis and served as Visiting Faculty at Maharaj Sayajirao University of Baroda. Abhijit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and has additional certifications in bioinformatics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
