Ben Horowitz

Ben Horowitz is a computer scientist with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout their career, they have led significant projects in nuclear fusion at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, contributed to core database innovations at Workday, and played a key role in developing Netflix's early streaming control service. With a commitment to mentoring and lifelong learning, Ben has acquired expertise in areas such as embedded control systems, distributed computing, and fault tolerance. They are currently a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Workday, continuing to advance the field.
