Karen Sweet is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in event content strategy and production. Currently serving as the Director of Event Content Strategy & Production at Workday since April 2018, Karen leads curriculum strategy and content development for large corporate events. Prior to Workday, Karen held various leadership roles, including Director of Global Events at GE Digital and Sr. Manager of Corporate Marketing Events at NetApp, where responsibility included managing extensive event programming and budgets. Karen’s career also includes strategic marketing positions at Sun Microsystems, Sybase, and Netscape, among others, with a strong focus on driving demand generation and brand awareness in the technology sector. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences & Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
