Xinying Yu

Xinying Yu is an experienced AI and Data Science leader currently serving at Workday since October 2024, following the acquisition of Evisort, where Xinying was Head of AI & Data Science from January 2023 to October 2024. Prior to this, Xinying held the position of Director of Data at Coursera from June 2020 to December 2022, leading data teams focused on enhancing learner and educator experiences through AI applications and machine learning operations. Xinying's previous roles include Senior Manager of Data Science and Machine Learning at Groupon, where transformational initiatives improved customer engagement and profitability, and Senior Analyst at AAR CORP., developing forecasting models that significantly increased gross profit. Xinying's academic background includes a Master of Science in Transportation Systems Analysis and Planning from Northwestern University and dual Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tongji University and Shanghai University, respectively.
