Michael Niemand, Dipl-Ing (FH)

Michael Niemand, Dipl-Ing (FH), has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Michael started their career at GRIP GmbH as a student assistant in IT, where they worked until 2012. From 2011 to 2012, they also gained practical experience at it.works GmbH through an internship. Later, they joined Accenture as an IT Consultant in November 2012 and worked there until February 2016.

In March 2016, Michael joined DER Touristik Online as a DevOps Engineer and held the position until February 2018. After that, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Aliviar UG from April 2018 to June 2019. Michael continued their work in the same role and joined Aliviar GmbH from June 2019 to July 2019. Their next position was at Basler Versicherungen Deutschland, where they worked as a DevOps Engineer from August 2019 to January 2020.

From January 2020 to June 2021, Michael worked at Fresenius Netcare as a Consultant Cloud Development. Michael then joined Northern Data AG as a DevOps Engineer in June 2021 and worked there until June 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at WORKERBASE, starting from June 2023.

Michael Niemand earned their Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Michael attended the university from 2005 to 2012.
