Sherry Coutu

Sherry Coutu CBE serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Pearson since May 2019, overseeing the Remuneration Committee and participating in the Nomination & Governance Committee. Involved with Raspberry Pi since December 2012 as an Independent Non-Exec Director, Coutu also contributes to various companies as an angel investor, backing over 70 ventures and holding investments in five venture capital firms. Previous roles include director at superpower, Independent Non-Executive Director at the London Stock Exchange, Non-Executive Director at Reinvent Capital, and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Coutu's educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and several honorary doctorates in education and entrepreneurship.
