Plinio Ayala

Plinio Ayala is the current Director at Workforce Professional Training Institute. Prior to this, they were the Director of Program Operations for South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (SoBRO) from January 1993 to December 1997. In this role, they coordinated all training activities for the non-profit organization and managed over $4 million dollars of city, state and federal training contracts. Plinio also supervised a staff of 10 individuals, assisted in fund development activities, served as a member of the organization’s strategic planning task force, and developed and implemented all facility improvement projects.

Plinio Ayala's educational career includes a certificate in non-profit management from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in American studies from Wesleyan University.
