David Bristol

David Bristol is the Mayor of the Town of Prosper since May 2022 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas. Bristol has been a member of the Prosper Economic Development Corporation since August 2013, where previously held the role of President, focusing on community investment and economic growth. As the CEO, Founder, and President of Employee Solutions from January 1997 to January 2023, Bristol led a regional staffing company recognized as a winner in the Collin County Business Journal Celebration of Enterprise in 2011. Additionally, Bristol served as a Board Member for Centennial Hospital from 2014 to 2017. Earlier in public service, Bristol was a Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem in the Town of Prosper from 2004 to 2008. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from the United States Air Force Academy, completed between 1982 and 1987.
