Nakisha Watkins

Nakisha Watkins, MS, LPC, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in vocational rehabilitation counseling and therapeutic case management. Currently serving as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas since January 2019, Nakisha manages a diverse caseload of clients with physical, mental, and cognitive disabilities, conducting evaluations and case planning to ensure positive outcomes. Previous roles include providing similar services at the Kansas Department For Children and Families and the North Carolina Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, along with experience in client assessments at KVC Health Systems and the Social Security Administration. Nakisha holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Carolina Central University.
