Mahmood Alabbas has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2019. In 2013, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Delta Modern Food Factory, where they fixed financial reporting errors and analyzed four years of financial data. In 2014, they founded and became CEO of Workhint Marketplace, where they staffed, trained and developed a team of international programmers, developed the "Online Virtual Office" technology, and conducted market research. In 2016, they worked as a Management Consultant at Babes-Bolyai University, where they established a detailed feasibility study, negotiated partnerships, and developed a customized pre-accelerator model. Also in 2016, they worked as a Management Consultant at Delta Modern Food Factory, where they evaluated the factory production line, enhanced the sales distribution process, and developed an export and global strategic model. In 2019, they became the Founder & CEO of Workhint and a Member at Innovation Ecosystem Society at Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center (Wa'ed). Mahmood also became a Financial Advisor for the Badir Program, where they trained startups on basic financial planning and prepared their companies to be fundable with proper financial governance.

Mahmood Alabbas has a diverse educational background. Mahmood began their education in 2009, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2013. Mahmood then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, which they completed in 2016. In 2019, they joined 500 Startups and in 2021, they completed the Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market course from HarvardX. Mahmood has also taken an online course in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Startup School Online.
