Max Farrell has had an extensive career in the tech industry. In 2015, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of WorkHound, a real-time feedback platform for frontline workers. Prior to that, they were a Facilitator for UP Global in 2014, an Organizer for Arkansas Startup Weekends for Startup Weekend in 2012, Co-Creator for dsmHack in 2014, Founder for Create Reason in 2014, and a Business Development and Community Builder for Dwolla in 2012. During their time at Dwolla, they helped the company grow its user base by 500%, grow from 10 to 60+ employees, and raise more than $20 million from Union Square Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. Max also traveled across the country to work in New York and San Francisco.

Max Farrell attended Grinnell College, where they obtained a degree in Sociology with a focus in American Studies. Max then attended the University of Cape Town, where they studied Entrepreneurial Strategies and Business Management for Musicians.
