Dean McIntyre

Dean McIntyre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in system administration, programming, and fine arts. Currently serving as an Arches Gallery Artist at Workhouse Arts Foundation Inc. since June 2022, Dean displays fine art photography and assists in gallery operations. Concurrently, Dean holds the position of System Administrator at Virginia Tech, providing expertise in telecommunication systems and network management. Dean's prior roles include over two decades of system administration and programming at the University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies, along with adjunct faculty positions at the University of Phoenix and Northern Virginia Community College, where Dean taught various IT courses. Dean's earlier career includes significant contributions to the Public Broadcasting Service and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Dean's academic background includes multiple advanced degrees in Telecommunications Information Systems and English Professional Writing, alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and an Associate of Arts in Computer Information Systems.
