Exhibitions Manager at Workhouse Arts Center

Sarah Berry is an accomplished exhibitions manager at Workhouse Arts Center since December 2023, curating and installing exhibits with diverse artists. As the owner of Persimmon Project Murals, Sarah facilitates the creation of murals emphasizing native flora and fauna in Northern Virginia and beyond. With extensive experience at Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia, Sarah served as both curator of the Bodzin Art Gallery and Arts and Ideas Director, overseeing numerous programs that engaged over 15,000 individuals annually. Additionally, Sarah directs the ReelAbilities Film Festival in Northern Virginia, promoting the artistic expressions of people with disabilities. As a consultant and artist for SM Berry, LLC, Sarah has curated artwork in various public and private spaces and managed events. Previous roles include interim advocacy coordinator at ArtsFairfax and cultural arts manager at Ingleside at King Farm. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Arts Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Art, and Visual Technology from George Mason University.
