Amelie Rey

Amelie Rey has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Amelie currently works as a Senior HRIS Analyst at Workhuman since November 2021. Prior to that, Amelie worked at Beyond The Green Coaching as a Senior Personal Finance Coach, starting in September 2020 and ending in December 2022. Amelie also held a role as a Personal Finance Coach at the same company from September 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Beyond The Green Coaching, Amelie worked at Indigo, where they held multiple positions. Amelie started as a Recruiting Coordinator from February 2019 to January 2020. Later, they transitioned to the role of People Data Analyst, focusing on Workday, from January 2020 to September 2021. Amelie ended their tenure at Indigo as a Senior HRIS Specialist from September 2021 to November 2021.

Amelie's career began at EF Education First, where they worked as a Recruitment and Development Specialist from June 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, they were an International Tour Consultant from March 2017 to June 2018.

Amelie also gained valuable experience at the University of Vermont. Amelie worked as a Cultural Ecosystem Services Research Assistant from January 2016 to May 2016, conducting literature reviews, analyzing data, and preparing findings for publication. Additionally, they served as a Course Instructor for an Environmental Studies course titled Human Ecology from August 2015 to December 2015, creating a collaborative learning environment.

During their time at the University of Vermont Honor's College, Amelie worked as a Peer Leader from August 2014 to December 2014. Amelie also interned at Metta Earth Institute from June 2013 to August 2013.

Amelie Rey attended the University of Vermont from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus on Biology/Ecology. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications. In January 2015, they received a 200 Hour Yoga Certification from Yoga Alliance. In December 2014, they obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from SOLO. Lastly, in July 2013, they became a Climate Change Presentation Leader through Generation Waking Up.
