Caoimhin O'Donnellan

Caoimhin O'Donnellan has extensive work experience in various technical and managerial roles. Starting in 2012, they worked as an R&D Graduate Engineer at Medtronic for a year. In 2014, they interned as a Software Engineer and continued to work in various software development roles at Ericsson until 2018. During their time at Ericsson, they served as a Senior Software Developer, a Product Owner for User Experience, and a Software Developer.

From 2018 to 2021, O'Donnellan worked at FBD Insurance as an IT Technical Lead and Manager. In this role, they led software development teams and focused on continuous improvement, learning, and quality. Caoimhin also acted as a technical lead, team lead, and scrum master, driving agile coaching, engineering best practices, and program planning initiatives.

In 2021, O'Donnellan joined Edge by Ascential as a Senior Engineering Manager. In this role, they were responsible for leading a cross-functional full stack team in delivering a SaaS eCommerce Analytics product. Their responsibilities included data harvest processing, developing product features, and providing technical solutions to meet customer needs.

Currently, O'Donnellan is working at Workhuman as an Engineering Manager, starting in 2023.

Caoimhin O'Donnellan completed a Master's Degree in Applied Software Technology at Technological University Dublin from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Eng (Honours) degree in Design and Manufacture Engineering from the same university from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Caoimhin O'Donnellan has also gained certifications such as Advanced Certified ScrumMaster and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance.
