Eimear McDermott (ACA) has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 with Flawless Marketing Limited as a Sales Representative. During their time there, they consistently exceeded sales targets and was responsible for organizing sectors and delivering presentations on sales techniques and customer service.

In 2015, Eimear worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training. Eimear'srole involved conducting glycan analysis of clinical samples and optimizing existing protocols.

From 2017 to 2021, Eimear worked at KPMG in various roles, including Risk Consultant, Senior Risk Consultant, and Manager - Risk Consulting. Eimear'sresponsibilities included risk consulting and managing internal controls.

In 2021, Eimear joined Workhuman as an Internal Controls Lead, where they currently work.

Most recently, Eimear co-founded Odyssey Consultants in 2023.

Eimear McDermott (ACA) completed their education history with a diverse range of academic achievements. Eimear began their studies in 2012 at University College Dublin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Health and Life Science, which they successfully completed in 2016.

Following their bachelor's degree, Eimear furthered their education at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2016 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology and Business.

After their postgraduate studies, Eimear focused on their professional development. In 2017, they enrolled at Chartered Accountants Ireland, where they attained the Associate Chartered Accountant qualification in 2021. This further enhanced their expertise in the field of accounting.

In 2021, Eimear expanded their skillset by pursuing a certification in Project Management from Cenit College. Eimear successfully completed the Prince2 Certification program in 2022, equipping herself with valuable project management knowledge and skills.

Looking towards the future, Eimear plans to continue their professional development in the area of sustainability strategy and risk reporting. In 2023, they are set to obtain a certificate in Sustainability Strategy & Risk Reporting from Chartered Accountants Ireland, further showcasing their commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging trends in the field.
