Finbarr Naughton has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Finbarr currently works as a Software Engineer at Workhuman since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at IBM as a DevOps Developer from April 2020 to December 2022. Before joining IBM, they were employed at Avaya as a Software Engineer from December 2014 to April 2020 and also served as a Software R&D Intern at the same company from September 2014 to November 2014. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Research Assistant at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, NUIG. Additionally, they have experience as an Office Coordinator at MBK Associates from October 2004 to December 2009 and as a Stock Manager at Claddagh Records Ltd. from April 2002 to September 2004.
Finbarr Naughton holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Physics from Dublin City University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. In 2013 to 2014, they attended the University of Galway, where they pursued a Higher Diploma in Applied Science with a focus on Software Design and Development. Additionally, they have acquired two certifications from Red Hat, namely, the Red Hat Certified System Administrator in November 2021 and the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes in April 2022.
