Gavin Harper

Gavin Harper has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Gavin started their career at bmi as a Customer Care and Sales Representative, where they processed bookings, achieved high sales targets, and handled customer inquiries. Gavin then joined Orange as a Broadband Area Sales Specialist, responsible for sales and training programs in Northern Ireland.

From there, Gavin transitioned to Bord Gais Energy, where they held multiple roles. As a Business Marketing Executive, they produced marketing collateral and managed Energy Market Briefings for business customers. Gavin also served as a PMO Business Analyst, contributing to the development of project office branding and the redesign of the project portal.

Gavin later took on the role of Sales and Marketing Project Delivery Executive at firmus energy, where they developed and delivered Salesforce training and materials. Gavin then returned to Bord Gais Energy as a Sponsorship Activation and Marketing Executive. During this time, they were seconded to Bord Gais Networks as a Corporate Communications and Environmental Analyst.

Continuing their career at Bord Gais Energy, Gavin became a Business Transformation Specialist, providing project management, analysis, and work stream delivery for various retail change initiatives. Gavin also served as a Residential Product Manager, overseeing the implementation of SAP Marketing and Commerce SaaS and managing residential energy products.

Currently, Gavin is working at Workhuman as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for the vision, strategy, development, and execution of the Conversations product offering. Gavin collaborates cross-functionally with other teams to improve and deliver the next generation of Conversations, with a focus on enabling enterprises to build a culture of achievement, connection, and gratitude at scale. Gavin also communicates the product vision and roadmap to senior management and stakeholders.

Gavin Harper has a diverse education history. In 2017, they attended Ulster University and obtained a WSET Level 2 certification in Wine Steward/Sommelier. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, Gavin studied at Ulster University where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc Hons) in Marketing. However, the specific field of study for their degree is unknown. Additionally, Gavin holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, which was obtained in April 2020.
