Gilson Beckman

Gilson Beckman has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and IT support. Gilson started their career at Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica in 2000, where they worked as a Network Administrator and IT Support professional for six years. During their time at SICPA BR - SICPA HOLDING SA, from 2009 to 2015, they served as a Network Administrator and IT Support specialist responsible for infrastructure and support of engineering and software development projects.

In 2015, Gilson joined Tifco Hotel Group as a Network Support Engineer, where they played a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure. Gilson also provided technical support to end users and successfully carried out projects related to firewall infrastructure.

Later, Gilson joined Verizon Connect in 2017 as a Senior Network Engineer. Gilson was responsible for managing the AWS infrastructure and establishing connectivity with OnPrem through various VPNs and interfaces. Gilson also played a crucial role in network setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with senior system engineers and architects for network optimization.

Most recently, Gilson worked at Workhuman as a Cloud Network Engineer - Senior. Gilson'sresponsibilities included handling a technology stack that involved Amazon Web Services (AWS), Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Check Point Firewalls, FortiGate IPS appliances, F5 BIG-IP Appliances, Cisco Nexus Switches, Dell Force10 Switches, VMware, Veeam Backup and Replication, and Nagios Monitoring and Asset Management.

Overall, Gilson Beckman has gained extensive experience in network engineering, IT support, infrastructure management, and project implementation throughout their career.

Gilson Beckman has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Gestão de Projetos from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, obtained in 2006. Prior to that, they attended Estácio from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Redes de Telecomunicação, specializing in Tecnologia em Telecomunicações.

In addition to their education history, Gilson Beckman has obtained several certifications from Cisco. Gilson obtained the CCNP Routing & Switching certification in November 2016, followed by the CCNA Routing & Switching certification in March 2016.
