Monique Thornley

Monique Thornley is a seasoned Business Architect with extensive experience in various financial and strategic roles. Currently, Monique is employed at Workhuman as a Business Architect since October 2023, following a role at Sanlam where responsibilities included supporting Product Owner(s) in creating a business case for a Leads Management and Measurement Eco-system. Monique's prior experience at Absa Group involved collaborating with the Organisation Effectiveness team to implement the Group Operating Model across business units. Additionally, Monique served as a Senior Business Analyst and Architect at Old Mutual South Africa, leading the design of the Group Marketing operating model and managing significant projects related to IFRS 17 and risk assessment systems across African subsidiaries. Other roles include consultancy at LOCKSTEP and various business analyst positions at Old Mutual and Dynamic Visual Technologies. Monique holds a BComm Honours in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town and a Diploma in Business Analysis from the Faculty Training Institute.
