Peter Nugent

Peter Nugent has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Peter started their career as a Field Service Engineer at BNC in 2003 and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2009, they served as a Senior Support Technician at Hibernia Computer Services Kildare. Next, they joined HiberniaEvros Technology Group in 2005 as an SMB and Microsoft Online Services Specialist, where they worked until 2012. After that, they joined Digital Planet Ireland as a Cloud Services employee from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, Peter joined Workhuman as a Senior Network Engineer, a role they held until 2018. Peter then became the Cloud Infrastructure Lead at Workhuman until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Cloud Infrastructure Manager at Workhuman.

Peter Nugent received their education from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, graduating with a degree in Information Technology Management from 1998 to 2003. During their studies, they focused on various subjects such as Networking, Optical Communications, Database Systems, Human Resources, and Business Management. In addition to their formal education, Peter also obtained several certifications, including the Amazon Web Services Advanced Networking Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect, both from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
