Director Of Product Analytics at Workhuman

Sam Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2008, Sam began working as a server at Home Grown Café and later served as a manager at The Dough Roller Restaurants in 2010. In 2011, Sam took on the role of an Inside Sales Representative at Great Northern Products, where they built a successful book of business through cold calls and excellent customer service.

From 2011 to 2014, Sam worked as an Operations Manager at North Coast Seafoods, implementing improvements to the order fulfillment process and optimizing delivery routes.

In 2014, Sam joined Wayfair as an Assistant Manager, consulting with suppliers on eCommerce operations and analyzing the performance of vendor partners. Sam then progressed to the roles of Senior Data Analyst, Analytics Manager, and Senior Manager Analytics at Wayfair, leading diverse teams focused on areas such as website performance, A/B testing, and user behavior analysis.

From 2017 to 2018, Sam also played a key role in establishing and growing the analytics team for Wayfair's wedding registry program. In 2021, Sam moved to Lovepop as the Director of Analytics, where they developed and executed the data strategy, enabling marketing optimization, supply chain improvement, and website enhancement through data analysis.

Currently, Sam is working as a Senior Manager of Product Analytics at Workhuman, where they are responsible for product analytics.

Sam Hunter obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from the University of Delaware. This educational achievement took place during the span of four years, from 2006 to 2010. In addition to this degree, Sam also obtained a certification in Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work from LinkedIn in August 2023.
