Thomasina Somers

Thomasina Somers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Thomasina'smost recent role was as a Global Manager of Procurement Services at Workhuman, where they have been working since November 2021. Previously, they held positions at the same company as a Senior Supplier Relationship Account Manager and Supplier Relationship Account Manager. In these roles, they collaborated with various business functions to coordinate supplier operations, managed requests for quotation process, contracts, and costs with vendors, analyzed costs and negotiated contract details, and provided strategies and solutions to improve services. Thomasina also worked cross-functionally to evaluate and recommend improvements to supplier management practices. Prior to their time at Workhuman, Thomasina worked at Primark as a Global Buyer and Assistant Global Buyer from 2012 to 2019. Thomasina also completed a Fashion Buying Internship at Primark in 2011. Thomasina Somers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Innovation & Technology at Dublin City University from 2006 to 2010. Thomasina then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion Buying & Management at Technological University Dublin from 2011 to 2012. In 2018, they enrolled in Dublin City University once again and obtained a Master of Science degree in Management of Operations from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, in 2020, they completed a course titled "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" at FranklinCovey Education Brasil.
