Atanas Bakalov

Atanas Bakalov has extensive work experience as a software engineer and developer. Atanas most recently worked at Working Group Two as a Software Engineer since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked at DNB as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2018 to March 2019. Atanas also worked at Telenor Digital as a Software Engineer from January 2016 to June 2018. Before that, they worked at Opera Software as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2014 to August 2015. At National Oilwell Varco, they served as a Software Engineer from May 2012 to June 2014, where they were involved in projects related to autonomous drilling in the gas & oil industry and the development of a corporate Silverlight portal. Prior to that, they worked at HAND Ltd as a Senior Software Developer from November 2007 to April 2012. Atanas also worked at Sciant / VMWare as a Senior C/C++ Software Developer from November 2006 to July 2007. At HAND Ltd, they were a Software Engineer from April 2004 to November 2006. At Atlantic sky, they worked as a C++ Software Developer from October 2002 to April 2004.

Atanas Bakalov pursued their education at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science between 2001 and 2005. Atanas continued their studies at the same university and successfully completed their master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained certifications, including the "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - Windows 4 Developer" from Microsoft in October 2012 and the "Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka" from Confluent in February 2023.
