Don Karr has held a number of roles in the financial industry since 1996. Don began their career at Waterhouse Securities (now TD Ameritrade) as a Registered Rep/Branch Manager, where they were responsible for buying and selling stocks, bonds, options and mutual funds on behalf of clients, ensuring all trading met compliance regulations, and educating investors on compliance regulations. Don was promoted to a supervisory role in 1999, and attained Series 9 & 10 supervisory licenses by passing exams administered by Regulatory Authorities. In 2001, they moved to Verizon Information Services as a Business Development Manager. In 2003, they joined Ambassador Publishing as a District Sales Manager. Since 2006, they have been with Working Media Group as the Senior Vice President Of Sales, providing transformative marketing solutions for clients in a broad range of industries with the focus on helping clients increase brand awareness and grow sales & revenue.
Don Karr received their Political Science degree from Brooklyn College between 1992 and 1995. Don studied Political Science and Government during their time there. Prior to that, they attended Xaverian HS in Brooklyn, NY from 1988 to 1992. Don also obtained certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, including the Series 63 (November 1995), Series 7 (December 1995), Series 10, and Series 9.
