Huascar Castro currently serves as the Associate Director of Housing and Transportation Policy at Working Partnerships USA since January 2021. Previously held the position of Policy Associate at SV@Home from June 2018 to June 2020, focusing on housing policy and land use campaigns to address the housing crisis. Huascar also worked as a Policy Aide in the Office of Vice Mayor Magdalena Carrasco from November 2015 to June 2018, and as an intern for District 10 Supervisor Malia Cohen at the City and County of San Francisco in early 2015, where responsibilities included office operations and constituent outreach. Huascar's early experience includes serving as a Judicial Extern at the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco in late 2014. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University and an Associate's Degree in Social Sciences from Foothill College.

We are co-founders of Silicon Valley Rising, a community-labor coalition work to inspire the tech industry to build an inclusive, middle class.
