David Lombardo

David Lombardo has extensive experience in technology sourcing, procurement, and IT operations, currently serving in a Global Technology Sourcing and Procurement role at Workiva since July 2024. Previously, at Medidata Solutions from July 2018 to June 2024, David successfully negotiated contracts that saved over $6M and managed vendor relationships for an annual spend exceeding $60M. Notable achievements include overseeing a significant transition of over 4500 users to Microsoft Outlook and ensuring operational continuity during the Covid-19 pandemic. David has also held leadership positions at MacAndrews & Forbes, Marsh & McLennan Companies, and the US Army, where responsibilities included providing executive IT support, managing technology service delivery, and advising on network operations. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Trident University International.
