Dayna Hamel

Dayna Hamel, CPA, MBA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Lead Solution Consultant at Workiva since December 2019, Dayna has progressed through multiple positions at the company, including Senior Solutions Engineer and Solutions Engineer. Prior to Workiva, Dayna held the position of Plant Accounting Manager at Peterbilt Motors Company and spent over three years at American Airlines, where significant contributions were made towards the adoption of the new Revenue Standard, ASC 606, as well as developing SEC filings. Dayna also has a background in XBRL services and customer success from previous roles at Workiva and experience in retail management from Target. Educational credentials include an MBA with a focus on Accounting from Texas Woman's University and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago.
