Emily Forrester

As senior vice president of human resources, Emily Forrester is responsible for defining and executing the HR strategy that supports rapid global growth, as well as building innovative talent management practices that deliver business results. She is a progressive HR leader with a passion for creating the best-in-class talent experience.

Emily brings more than 15 years of experience in human resources leadership and expertise in global talent management across several industries including technology, financial services and professional services. She’s a passionate believer in and supporter of creating great workplaces and has been integral in the success of Workiva’s multiple recognitions on the annual list of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.

Previously, Emily was an HR partner for Principal Financial Group where she provided strategic talent management to senior leaders. She also served as director of HR for Iowa Bankers Association and McGladrey LLP.

Emily has been recognized by Great Place to Work as a For All Leader, 2020 and holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and International Business from Iowa State University.
