Frank Abbenhuis

Frank Abbenhuis is an accomplished sales and business development professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Regional Sales Director for Financial Services in the Benelux region at Workiva since May 2022, Frank is responsible for the financial services industry sector and supports companies with statutory and regulatory ESG reporting requirements. Prior to this role, Frank held positions such as Director of Sales at Owlin, where the focus was on helping financial institutions extract insights from unstructured data, and Chief Commercial Officer at Axyon AI, a deep learning start-up offering software solutions for financial institutions. Frank’s experience also includes a substantial tenure at ING, where responsibilities spanned business development for advanced analytics and structured finance. Frank holds multiple degrees in International Management from prestigious institutions, including UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, as well as a background in finance from the University of Cambridge and CFA Institute.
