Joe Belanger

Joe Belanger has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joe most recently worked as a Team Lead Manager at Workplace Options, where they assisted the VP and operations manager with team leadership and quality review of the coaching team. Joe also managed their time effectively by providing coaching to clients and fulfilling Team Lead duties such as annual reviews, resource planning, and employee development. Prior to this role, Joe worked as a Wellness Coach at Workplace Options, where they obtained National Board Certification for Health and Wellness Coaching. Joe coached domestic and global participants towards healthy behavior change and performed various coaching functions related to career, life, and stress reduction. Before joining Workplace Options, Joe served as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist at Kswo TV, where they prepared and communicated daily weather forecasts to viewers in the Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas area. Joe also worked as a Teacher Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they organized and created lesson plans, led students, and assisted with class and homework assignments. In addition, Joe worked as an Advancement Services Researcher at North Carolina State University, conducting research and entering data on alumni for potential university donations. Joe also organized confidential client records in this role. Joe's earliest work experience was as a Waiter at Carrabba's Italian Grill.

Joe Belanger earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from North Carolina State University in the years 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including being a National Board Certified-Health and Wellness Coach from the National Board of Medical Examiners in October 2017. Joe also holds the certification of Certified Wellness Coach from Mayo Clinic, obtained in September 2014, and a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist certification from the American Meteorological Society, obtained in August 2012.
