Tamrat Amare Arega

Tamrat Amare Arega is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in solution management, technology strategy, and project management. Currently serving as a Solution Manager at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) since February 2023, Tamrat leads operational readiness assessments and guides project managers in implementing best practices. Previously, as the Chief Technology Officer at UT Solutions PLC, Tamrat successfully developed a business strategy that resulted in significant revenue growth and led a Business Process Management project that improved efficiency. Extensive experience at the Ministry of Finance in Ethiopia includes roles as Deputy Project Manager, Lead Database Administrator, Senior Database Administrator, and Database Administrator, where Tamrat contributed to the rollout of the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) and implemented disaster recovery plans. Tamrat holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Unity University.
