Angus Deacon

Angus Deacon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Angus currently works as a Design Lead at WorkSafe New Zealand since September 2021. In 2022, they participated as a contestant on LEGO Masters. Prior to that, Angus worked at ACC New Zealand from 2018 to 2021, where they held roles such as Product Design Lead, Product Owner, and Senior Experience Designer. Angus also worked as a Freelance Journalist at Fairfax Ltd. from 2007 to 2021 while simultaneously working as an Illustrator in a self-employed capacity from 2003 to 2021. Angus has held positions at Somar Design as an Art Director / Lead Creative, at Gusto Design as a Senior Designer, at 3d Creative as a Senior Designer, and at TBD Ltd. as an Intermediate Designer.

Angus Deacon obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Victoria University of Wellington between 2000 and 2003. In February 2020, they also received certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile Inc.
