Alan Cooke is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience spanning several decades. They served as a Board Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for the Workers Compensation Board of British Columbia from 2012 to 2018 and held leadership roles in various organizations, including as Vice Chairperson of Actuaries Without Borders from 2010 to 2013. Currently, Alan is an Independent Pension Committee Member at WorkSafeBC and a Board Director and Chair of the Youth Education Committee at the Actuarial Foundation of Canada, promoting financial literacy among youth. Alan earned a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Queen's University in 1972.
