Alexandra Skinner

Alexandra Skinner, MA, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in government relations, media relations, and issues management within both the public and private sectors. As the current Manager of Government Relations, Media Relations, & Issue Management at WorkSafeBC, Alexandra leads media relations efforts on the Public Affairs & Issues Management team. Previously, Alexandra served as President of CPRS Vancouver and held the position of Director of Communications at the BC Chamber of Commerce, where responsibilities included direct reporting to the CEO. Alexandra's career also includes roles as Corporate Communications Manager at BC Housing and Senior Account Manager at Edelman, where expertise in public affairs was developed particularly in the LNG sector. With a solid foundation in communication strategies across various roles at WorkSafeBC, along with freelance writing experience, Alexandra possesses a diverse skill set backed by educational credentials, including a Master’s degree from the University of Leicester.
