Richard Fisher

Richard Fisher is an experienced Occupational Safety Officer currently working at WorkSafeBC since September 2024. Prior to this role, Richard served as an OHS Coordinator at The Teal-Jones Group from July 2017 to September 2024 and as an HSE Advisor at Advisian from April 2013 to March 2017. Richard began a career in fabrication and welding, with positions at LNS Services and Rockwell Industries, where skills included fabricating structural steel components and assembly for the sawmill industry. A strong background in metal fabrication was established through an apprenticeship at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and further education in Occupational Health and Safety from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Richard's diverse experience combines technical expertise with a focus on safety in various industrial settings.
