Barry Rice has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2003, they began working for Worksighted, Inc. as an Integrator and COO. Barry then moved on to become the Director of Strategic Growth, where they led expansion efforts in the Detroit area, designed and created scenario-led sales training for outside sales reps, and developed and facilitated EOS planning with each Department Leadership Team. Barry then became the Director of Sales and Marketing, where they designed and implemented the sales and marketing strategy for Worksighted and managed and trained a team of outside and inside sales reps. Barry also held the roles of Business Development Manager and Business Development Associate. In 2003, they began working for Blue Sky Sessions as a Project Manager. In 2007, they began working for United Soccer Athletes (USA) Holland as the Head Coach and Coaches Council. Finally, in 2003, they became the President and Founder of Holland Young Professionals, where they established the organization's culture, mission and goals and led the organization from start-up to established and credible organization.
Barry Rice has a diverse educational background. Barry obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Communication from Hope College in 2003. Barry then attended the University of Aberdeen in 2001 and obtained a Certification in Design and Business from Kendall College of Art & Design in 2008. Barry completed their education with a Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 2011. In addition to their degrees, Barry has obtained three certifications: Becoming a Product Manager: A Complete Guide from LinkedIn in 2023, West Coast Leadership Graduate from Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce in 2016, and Developing Executive Leadership from American Management Association in 2013.
